2009 New Year Honours (New Zealand)

The 2009 New Year Honours in New Zealand were appointments made by Elizabeth II in her right as Queen of New Zealand on 31 December 2008, to recognise and reward good works by New Zealanders. The honours list was published as a special supplement to The New Zealand Gazette of 31 December 2008.
