1992 World Matchplay (snooker)

The 1992 World Matchplay was a professional non-ranking snooker tournament that took place between January 11 and January 18, 1992. It was held at the The Dome, Doncaster. Steve Davis won the tournament, defeating Jimmy White 18–12 in the final. This was the final edition of the World Matchplay to be sponsored by Crystalate. The event featured a field of 16 players, all invited. Matches were best of 17 frames up to the semi-finals, which were best of 19. The final was best of 35 frames.
