Xu Wu (footballer, born 1991)

Xu Wu (Chinese: 徐武; born 19 December 1991) is a Chinese professional footballer who currently plays as a midfielder for Nantong Zhiyun.

Career

Xu Wu began his football career playing for the Wuhan Optics Valley youth team before the club dissolved in 2008. He then joined the Hubei Greenery youth team. In 2010, Xu Wu started his professional career with Hubei Luyin in the China League Two. He played an important role as Hubei won promotion to the second tier at the end of the 2010 season.

He continued to play for the club as it rebranded as Wuhan Zhongbo and then Wuhan Zall. He established himself as a regular member of the team in the China League One.

In January 2019, Xu Wu joined China League One side Nantong Zhiyun.
