Wes Kittley

Wes Kittley is an American track and field coach. He is currently the head track and field coach at Texas Tech University, a position he has held since 1999.

Prior to Texas Tech, Kittley coached at Abilene Christian University (ACU) from 1984 to 1999. During his tenure at ACU, he built a dominant program, winning 29 NCAA Division II national championships (15 men's and 14 women's). He was named the NCAA Division II National Coach of the Year multiple times.

At Texas Tech, Kittley has overseen significant success, including numerous Big 12 Conference championships and NCAA individual titles. His teams have consistently been ranked among the top programs in the nation. He is known for his expertise in coaching sprinters, jumpers, and hurdlers. He has also been recognized as Big 12 Coach of the Year on several occasions. Kittley is widely respected within the track and field community for his coaching abilities and his commitment to the development of student-athletes.
