We're No Angels (1989 film)

We're No Angels is a 1989 American comedy film directed by Neil Jordan. It stars Robert De Niro, Sean Penn, and Demi Moore. The film is a remake of the 1955 film of the same name, which was based on the play La Cuisine des Anges by Albert Husson.

The plot centers on two escaped convicts, Ned (De Niro) and Jim (Penn), who are mistaken for priests in a small town near the Canadian border in 1930s America.
