Vṛṣabha

Vṛṣabha (Sanskrit: वृषभ) is a Sanskrit word that primarily translates to "bull," specifically a strong or virile bull. The term carries significant cultural and religious importance in Hinduism and is closely associated with Lord Shiva.

In Hindu mythology, Vṛṣabha is the vahana (mount or vehicle) of Shiva. The bull is often depicted kneeling before Shiva in temples, signifying devotion and strength. As Shiva's vehicle, Vṛṣabha is considered sacred and symbolic of dharma (righteousness), strength, virility, and justice.
