Trois-Rivières Aigles (1971–1977)

The Trois-Rivières Aigles (Eagles) were a professional ice hockey team based in Trois-Rivières, Quebec, Canada. They existed from 1971 to 1977 and played in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL). The team was known for developing young hockey talent, many of whom went on to play in higher leagues, including the National Hockey League (NHL). The Aigles played their home games at the Colisée de Trois-Rivières. While they were a part of the QMJHL, they never won the Memorial Cup, the national championship for major junior hockey in Canada. The franchise ceased operations after the 1976-77 season.
