Tom Gloy
Tom Gloy (born November 2, 1961, in Ingolstadt, Germany) is a German former racing driver. He is best known for his participation in the Deutsche Tourenwagen Meisterschaft (DTM), the German Touring Car Championship, during the late 1980s and early 1990s.
Gloy began his racing career in karting before moving into Formula racing. However, he gained prominence in touring car racing, primarily in the DTM. He drove for various teams, including BMW and Opel, achieving several race wins and podium finishes throughout his DTM career.
While he never won the overall DTM championship, Gloy was a consistent competitor and a recognizable figure in German motorsport during his era. His career extended beyond the DTM, encompassing other touring car series and one-off races. He retired from professional racing in the mid-1990s.
