The Apprentice (American TV series) season 4
Season 4 of The Apprentice, the American reality television series, premiered on NBC on January 6, 2006, and concluded on April 17, 2006. Like previous seasons, it featured a group of contestants competing in business-related tasks for a job working for Donald Trump. This season was also set in Los Angeles, California, a departure from the New York City setting of the first three seasons.
This season differed from previous installments in some key aspects. Notably, the prize was changed from a $250,000 one-year employment contract to a $250,000 management position within the Trump Organization with increased responsibilities and potential for advancement. The contestants were divided into two teams: one male team and one female team, maintaining the traditional format of previous seasons.
The weekly tasks often involved marketing, advertising, sales, and project management challenges. The losing team from each task faced Donald Trump and his advisors in the boardroom, where one contestant was fired. Carolyn Kepcher and George H. Ross returned as Trump's advisors throughout the season.
The final two contestants competed in a final task, the success of which largely determined who would be hired as the next Apprentice. The season culminated with a live finale where Donald Trump declared the winner. Randal Pinkett ultimately won the season, defeating Rebecca Jarvis.
Season 4 is known for some memorable personalities and boardroom clashes, as well as its focus on business acumen and strategic thinking.
