Swineherd

A swineherd is a person who tends swine (pigs or hogs). The role of a swineherd traditionally involved feeding, watering, and protecting the swine from predators and diseases. Swineherds often managed the breeding of swine and their movement to market. Historically, swineherds were common in rural communities where pig farming was a significant part of the agricultural economy.
