Scott Green (footballer)

Scott Green is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for the Richmond Football Club and the West Coast Eagles in the Australian Football League (AFL).

Green played primarily as a defender. He was originally drafted by Richmond with pick #60 in the 1997 AFL Draft. He made his debut for the Tigers in 1998 and played with them until the end of the 2001 season.

Following the 2001 season, Green was traded to the West Coast Eagles. He played for the Eagles from 2002 until his retirement at the end of the 2006 season. He was a member of the West Coast Eagles' premiership-winning team in 2006.

Since his retirement from playing, Green has held various coaching roles.
