Scootacar

The Scootacar was a microcar manufactured in the United Kingdom by Scootacars Ltd of Hunslet, Leeds, between 1957 and 1964. These were three-wheeled vehicles, initially aimed at disabled drivers, although they were also available to the general public. The Mark 1 model was noted for its distinct bubble car styling and its lack of a reverse gear; instead, drivers were expected to lift the rear of the lightweight car and manually turn it around. Later models, like the Mark 2 and Mark 3, addressed some of these issues, offering improved designs and features. The Scootacar was powered by a Villiers engine and production numbers were relatively small.
