Sami Frey
Sami Frey (born October 5, 1937, Paris, France – June 5, 2022) was a French actor of Polish-Jewish descent. He was known for his roles in French New Wave cinema and beyond, encompassing both stage and screen performances.
Frey began his acting career in the late 1950s. He frequently collaborated with directors such as Jean-Luc Godard, where he appeared in Bande à part (1964), and Claude Sautet. Other notable film appearances include Shoot the Piano Player (1960), Truth or Dare (1993), and My Life and Times with Antonin Artaud (1993).
