Mumlava

The Mumlava is a river in the Czech Republic, located entirely within the Krkonoše Mountains. It is a left tributary of the Izera (Jizera). The river's source is near the Violík mountain. It is known for its picturesque waterfalls, the Mumlavské vodopády (Mumlava Waterfalls), which are a significant tourist attraction. The river flows through the town of Harrachov. Its course is generally rapid and characterized by rocky riverbeds and dense forest surroundings typical of the Krkonoše landscape. The Mumlava is also important for the local ecosystem, supporting various species of plants and animals.
