SVT (band)

SVT, often stylized as SEVENTEEN or 세븐틴, is a South Korean boy group formed by Pledis Entertainment. The group consists of thirteen members: S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, DK, Mingyu, The8, Seungkwan, Vernon, and Dino.

SEVENTEEN is unique in that the members are heavily involved in the songwriting, choreography, and production of their music. This self-producing aspect has become a defining characteristic of the group. They are divided into three sub-units, each with a different area of specialization: the Hip-Hop Unit, the Vocal Unit, and the Performance Unit. Each unit has its own leader, contributing to the overall collaborative dynamic of the group. S.Coups serves as the overall leader of SEVENTEEN.

The group officially debuted on May 26, 2015, with a live showcase. They gained recognition for their synchronized performances, catchy music, and strong emphasis on teamwork. SEVENTEEN has released numerous studio albums, EPs, and singles, achieving both commercial success and critical acclaim. Their discography showcases a wide range of genres, from upbeat pop to emotional ballads.

SEVENTEEN has also established a significant international fanbase and has held concerts and tours globally. Their fan base is officially called "Carat." The group's music and performances often explore themes of youth, love, and personal growth. They have won several awards, including multiple Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) and Golden Disc Awards.
