Sürgü Dam

Sürgü Dam is an earth-fill embankment dam on the Sürgü Stream in Doğanşehir district of Malatya Province, Turkey. It primarily serves for irrigation purposes. The dam's construction was completed in 1974. It has a height of 55 meters from the foundation and a reservoir capacity of 68.5 million cubic meters. The dam irrigates an area of approximately 13,320 hectares.
