Richard Casey (Queensland politician)

Richard Casey (born 1967) is an Australian politician who was elected to the Queensland Legislative Assembly as the member for Pumicestone in the 2024 state election. He represents the Australian Labor Party (ALP). Prior to entering state politics, Casey worked as a maritime safety officer. His campaign focused on local issues such as improving infrastructure and supporting local businesses within the Pumicestone electorate. He unseated incumbent Simone Wilson of the LNP to take the seat.
