Deer Creek is a town in Grant County, Oklahoma, United States. It is located approximately 13 miles west of Medford, the county seat.
History
Deer Creek was established in 1893, shortly after the Cherokee Outlet was opened to settlement. The town was named after Deer Creek, a nearby stream. The town quickly became a local agricultural center, serving the surrounding farming community.

Deer Creek is situated on the plains of northern Oklahoma. The terrain is generally flat, with some rolling hills. Deer Creek flows near the town. The climate is temperate, with hot summers and mild winters.
