Raymix

Raymix is a Mexican electronic music project and artist, whose real name is Edmundo Gómez Moreno. He is known for pioneering a subgenre of electronic music dubbed "Electrocumbia," which blends traditional cumbia rhythms with electronic dance music (EDM) sounds, specifically electro house and progressive house.

Raymix gained widespread popularity with his early singles, notably "Sisearé" and "Donde Estarás," which became viral hits on social media and streaming platforms. His music often features his own vocals, layered with synthesizers, drum machines, and percussion instruments characteristic of cumbia.

Prior to his music career, Gómez Moreno studied engineering and worked for NASA. He later transitioned to music production and performance, finding success with his unique fusion of genres.

Raymix has collaborated with various Latin American artists, further solidifying his position in the Latin music scene. He has toured extensively, performing at festivals and concerts throughout the Americas. His work has contributed to the mainstream acceptance of Electrocumbia and the broader recognition of Latin electronic music.
