Ray Kelly (footballer)
Ray Kelly is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for the North Melbourne Football Club and the Sydney Swans in the Victorian Football League (VFL)/Australian Football League (AFL).
Career:
Kelly was drafted by North Melbourne in the 1980 VFL Draft. He played primarily as a defender, known for his strong marking and reliable disposal. Kelly played 112 games for North Melbourne between 1981 and 1988.
In 1989, Kelly was traded to the Sydney Swans, where he played for two seasons, adding a further 24 games to his career tally. He retired from AFL football at the end of the 1990 season.
