Pretty Boy Floyd (American band)

Pretty Boy Floyd is an American glam metal band formed in Hollywood, California, in 1987. They are best known for their debut album, Leather Boyz with Electric Toyz, released in 1989. The band's name is a reference to the infamous American bank robber Charles Arthur "Pretty Boy" Floyd.

The original lineup consisted of Steve Summers (vocals), Kristy Majors (guitar), Keri Kelli (guitar), Vinnie Chas (bass), and Kari Kane (drums). Their music is characterized by catchy hooks, melodic guitar riffs, and flamboyant stage presence, typical of the late 1980s glam metal scene.

After moderate success with their debut, internal conflicts and changing musical tastes led to lineup changes and a period of inactivity. The band has reformed several times over the years with varying lineups, featuring Summers and Majors as the core members. They have continued to release albums and tour, although they have not achieved the same level of mainstream success as they did in their early years. Their later work includes albums such as Porn Stars (1998) and Size Really Does Matter (2004). Pretty Boy Floyd continues to be active in the glam metal revival scene.
