Ponta Preta (Maio)

Ponta Preta is a geographic location on the island of Maio, which is part of the Cape Verde archipelago. Specifically, it refers to a point or cape (ponta) of dark-colored volcanic rock (preta meaning black) situated along the coastline of Maio. Ponta Preta is often associated with beaches and coastal landscapes, and its geographical features contribute to the unique environment of the island.
