Phil Bennett (racing driver)

Phil Bennett (born July 29, 1952) is a British former racing driver. He competed in various forms of motorsport, including Formula Three and Formula Two.

Bennett is perhaps best known for his successful career in British Formula Three during the 1970s. He won the British Formula Three Championship in 1976, driving a Ralt RT1. This victory propelled him into Formula Two.

In Formula Two, Bennett competed for several seasons, achieving some notable results. While he never reached the heights of Formula One, his performances in Formula Two demonstrated his skill and potential.
