Pep Love

Pep Love (born Tajai Massey, October 20, 1974) is an American rapper, producer, and member of the alternative hip hop collective Hieroglyphics. He is known for his complex rhyme schemes, introspective lyrics, and distinctive voice.

Pep Love began his career in the early 1990s as a solo artist before joining Hieroglyphics in 1995. With Hieroglyphics, he contributed to several critically acclaimed albums, including 3rd Eye Vision and Full Circle. He has also released several solo albums, including Ascension (2001), Rigmarole (2005), and Red Pill (2017).

His work often explores themes of spirituality, personal growth, social consciousness, and the human condition. He is recognized for his intricate wordplay and thoughtful approach to songwriting, contributing to the evolution of alternative hip hop.
