People's Alliance (Fiji)

The People's Alliance (PA) is a political party in Fiji. It was founded in 2022 by Sitiveni Rabuka, following his resignation as leader of the Social Democratic Liberal Party (SODELPA).

The party contested the 2022 Fijian general election in a coalition with the National Federation Party (NFP) and the United People's Party. The coalition secured a narrow victory, and Sitiveni Rabuka became Prime Minister, ending Frank Bainimarama's 16-year rule. The People's Alliance platform generally focuses on good governance, economic reform, and social justice. Key policy positions have included strengthening democratic institutions, promoting transparency and accountability in government, and addressing issues such as poverty and inequality. The party aims to represent a broad spectrum of Fijian society.
