Paul Nicholson (ice hockey)

Paul Nicholson is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey player. He was a defenceman who played in the National Hockey League (NHL) and the World Hockey Association (WHA).

Nicholson's NHL career included stints with the Toronto Maple Leafs, Philadelphia Flyers, and Washington Capitals. Before reaching the NHL, he played junior hockey in the Ontario Hockey Association (OHA).

In the WHA, Nicholson played for the Vancouver Blazers and the Calgary Cowboys. He was known for his physical play and defensive abilities.

Following his playing career, Nicholson remained involved in hockey, including roles in coaching and management.
