Pacific Station (TV series)
Pacific Station was a Canadian television police procedural comedy-drama series that aired on CBC Television from 1991 to 1992. Created by Michael MacLennan and produced by Western International Communications (WIC), the show centred around the day-to-day lives of a group of eccentric police officers working at a small, underfunded police station in Vancouver, British Columbia.
The series was known for its ensemble cast and its blend of comedic situations with more serious storylines dealing with crime and social issues. Recurring themes included the challenges of working within a bureaucratic system, the personal lives of the officers, and the unique characters they encountered in their diverse community.
Although it initially garnered some positive reviews for its quirky humor and strong performances, Pacific Station was ultimately cancelled after two seasons due to declining ratings.
