Neil Cole (politician)
Neil Cole is a former Canadian politician who served as a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) for the riding of Cole Harbour-Eastern Passage in Nova Scotia. He was a member of the New Democratic Party (NDP).
Cole was first elected in the 2009 Nova Scotia general election, defeating Liberal incumbent Kevin Murphy. He was re-elected in the 2013 general election.
During his time in the legislature, Cole served on various committees and advocated for issues relevant to his constituency. He focused on issues related to community development, environmental protection, and social services.
In the 2017 Nova Scotia general election, Cole was defeated by Barbara Adams of the Progressive Conservative Party. Since leaving provincial politics, Cole has remained involved in community activities.
