National Route 333 (Costa Rica)
National Route 333, also known as Ruta Nacional 333, is a tertiary road in Costa Rica. It traverses the canton of Siquirres, in the Limón province.
Specifically, the route connects the town of Siquirres with various communities in the surrounding agricultural areas. It is primarily used for transporting agricultural products, particularly bananas and pineapples, to processing and export centers. The road also provides access to local communities for residents to access services and employment in Siquirres.
The road's condition varies along its length, with some sections being paved and others consisting of gravel or dirt surfaces. Maintenance is periodically carried out by the Costa Rican Ministry of Public Works and Transportation (MOPT). Improvement projects have been undertaken in the past to upgrade sections of the route, aiming to improve transit times and reduce transportation costs for farmers and businesses.
Precise length and endpoints are subject to minor variations due to ongoing road maintenance and upgrades, but its general trajectory remains within the Siquirres canton.
