NGC 700 is a lenticular galaxy located approximately 200 million light-years away in the constellation Andromeda. It was discovered on October 28, 1866, by R. J. Mitchell. The galaxy is classified as SA0, indicating it possesses a smooth disk-like structure and a central bulge, but lacks spiral arms. Its apparent magnitude is around 13.4.
