Monty Betham (boxer)
Monty Betham is a New Zealand former professional rugby league player and professional boxer. He is best known for his career in rugby league, representing the New Zealand Warriors in the National Rugby League (NRL) and the New Zealand national team (the Kiwis). Following his rugby league career, Betham transitioned to professional boxing.
Betham played as a lock or loose forward in rugby league. He was a key member of the Warriors squad and was known for his tough tackling and aggressive style of play. He also captained the New Zealand Kiwis.
