Mbalala

Mbalala is a town located in the Mukono District of Uganda, within the Central Region of the country. It is situated approximately 30 kilometers (19 miles) east of Kampala, Uganda's capital and largest city. Mbalala is known primarily as a trading center along the Kampala-Jinja Highway, a major transport artery. The town's economy is largely driven by agriculture and small-scale businesses catering to travelers and residents. It is also a growing residential area for people who work in Kampala or nearby industrial areas but prefer to live outside the city center. The population is a mix of various Ugandan ethnic groups.
