Maurice Collins (judge)
Maurice Collins is an Irish judge. He currently serves as a Judge of the Court of Appeal of Ireland.
Collins was called to the Bar in 1990 and became a Senior Counsel in 2006. His practice at the Bar focused on commercial law, particularly in areas such as insolvency, banking, and corporate law.
Prior to his appointment to the Court of Appeal in 2019, Collins served as a Judge of the High Court from 2014. As a High Court judge, he presided over a variety of cases, including those involving commercial disputes, judicial review, and personal injuries.
He holds law degrees from University College Dublin and King's College London.
