Matanglawin (publication)

Matanglawin is the official student publication of Ateneo de Manila University's Loyola Schools. Established in 1965, it is a Filipino-language publication, named after the Filipino word for "sharp-eyed hawk," symbolizing the publication's aim to provide critical and insightful perspectives on various issues relevant to the university and the nation.

Matanglawin focuses on news, opinion, literary, and feature articles, all written in Filipino. It serves as a platform for student voices and aims to promote the use and development of the Filipino language in academic and journalistic contexts. The publication releases regular issues, online content, and special publications covering a wide range of topics, including politics, culture, social issues, and campus life.
