Masta Wu

Masta Wu is a South Korean rapper, record producer, and songwriter. He is known for his work both as a solo artist and as a producer for YG Entertainment.

Masta Wu (born Woo Jin-won) debuted in 2003 with the album Masta Peace. He gained further recognition for his participation in the hip-hop project group YMGA (Young Men Gangsta' Association) alongside Digital Masta, DM, and BK.

As a producer at YG Entertainment, Masta Wu has contributed to the creation of numerous hit songs for artists such as BIGBANG, 2NE1, and iKON. His production style often blends hip-hop with other genres, resulting in a unique and recognizable sound.

Masta Wu was also a judge on the South Korean rap competition show Show Me the Money 3. His involvement in the show further increased his visibility and solidified his position within the Korean hip-hop scene. He continues to work on his own music and produce for other artists.
