M10 (Istanbul Metro)

The M10 line, also known as the Pendik–Sabiha Gökçen Airport Metro Line, is a rapid transit line of the Istanbul Metro system. It operates on the Asian side of Istanbul, Turkey. The line primarily serves to connect the city's metro network to Sabiha Gökçen International Airport (SAW).

The M10 line branches off from the M4 line (Kadıköy–Tavşantepe) at Pendik station. It runs in a northeasterly direction, providing crucial public transportation access to the airport for both passengers and airport staff.

The line is relatively short compared to other metro lines in Istanbul, but it plays a significant role in improving connectivity and reducing travel time to and from the airport. The stations along the M10 are modern and equipped with features for accessibility. The operating hours typically align with the airport's flight schedule to accommodate travelers arriving and departing at various times.

The M10's existence has considerably eased traffic congestion on roads leading to Sabiha Gökçen Airport, offering a more reliable and predictable transportation option. Future extensions and integrations with other public transport systems are planned to further enhance its utility within the broader Istanbul transportation network.
