M-52 (Michigan highway)

M-52 is a north–south state trunkline highway in the U.S. state of Michigan. It runs from the Ohio state line near Morenci north to a junction with M-46 near Breckenridge. The highway serves primarily rural areas of south-central Michigan, connecting several small towns.

The southern terminus of M-52 is at the Ohio state line, where the roadway continues south as Ohio State Route 109 (SR 109). From there, M-52 runs north through Lenawee County, passing through Morenci, Hudson, and Addison. Further north, the highway enters Jackson County, intersecting with US Highway 127 (US 127) near the village of Somerset Center.

Continuing north, M-52 traverses into Ingham County and serves the city of Stockbridge. In Shiawassee County, it passes through Perry. The northern portion of the highway is located primarily in Gratiot County, where it travels through or near Elsie, Ithaca (the county seat), and finally ends at its junction with M-46, several miles west of Breckenridge.

M-52 provides local access and regional connectivity within the south-central portion of Michigan's Lower Peninsula. It offers an alternative route to the more heavily trafficked US 23 and US 127 corridors.
