Leah Smith (swimmer)

Leah Smith is an American competitive swimmer specializing in freestyle events. Born April 19, 1995, Smith has represented the United States in multiple international competitions, including the Olympic Games and the World Aquatics Championships.

Smith achieved prominence in collegiate swimming while attending the University of Virginia, where she earned numerous All-American honors and NCAA titles.

At the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Smith won a gold medal as part of the 4x200-meter freestyle relay team and an individual bronze medal in the 400-meter freestyle. She has also earned multiple medals at the World Aquatics Championships in both individual and relay events.
