Krtovce
Krtovce is a village and municipality in the Krupina District of the Banská Bystrica Region of Slovakia. The village is situated in the southern part of central Slovakia, in the foothills of the Štiavnické vrchy mountains. The municipality covers an area of approximately 6.63 square kilometers.
Historically, the area was inhabited from the Bronze Age, with archaeological evidence suggesting early settlements. The first written mention of Krtovce dates back to the 13th century. The village's economy was traditionally based on agriculture and animal husbandry.
