Jules Koundé (born 1998)

Jules Koundé is a French professional footballer who primarily plays as a centre-back, but is also capable of playing as a right-back. He currently plays for FC Barcelona in La Liga and the France national team.

Career:

Koundé began his senior career at Bordeaux, progressing through their youth academy. His performances there earned him a transfer to Sevilla FC in 2019. At Sevilla, he established himself as a highly regarded defender, contributing to their UEFA Europa League victory in 2020. In July 2022, he joined FC Barcelona.

Playing Style:

Koundé is known for his pace, agility, and strong tackling ability. He is also comfortable on the ball and possesses good passing skills, enabling him to contribute to build-up play from the back. His versatility allows him to play in multiple defensive positions, making him a valuable asset to his team.

International Career:
