Khanowal

Khanowal is a village located in the Tarn Taran district of Punjab, India. It is situated approximately 20 kilometers from the district headquarters of Tarn Taran Sahib. Khanowal is primarily an agricultural village, with the majority of its population engaged in farming. Common crops grown in the area include wheat, rice, and various vegetables. The village has a local Gurdwara (Sikh place of worship) which serves as a central community gathering point. Education is provided through government-run schools and private institutions within the village and in nearby towns.
