Kamil (metre)

A kamil is an archaic unit of length used historically in the Ottoman Empire and some parts of the Middle East. It is primarily defined as an architectural measure, roughly equivalent to the metre.

The exact length of a kamil could vary slightly depending on the region and the context of its use. Sources generally place it in the range of 1 metre to 1.05 metres.
