Jonathan Jones (American football)

Jonathan Jones (born September 22, 1993) is an American football cornerback for the New England Patriots of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Auburn University.

Early Life and College Career

Jones attended Carrollton High School in Carrollton, Georgia. He played college football for the Auburn Tigers from 2012 to 2015. During his time at Auburn, he was a versatile defensive back, contributing as a cornerback and on special teams.

Professional Career

Jones signed with the New England Patriots as an undrafted free agent in 2016. He quickly established himself as a key member of their special teams unit and developed into a reliable cornerback. Jones has been known for his speed and tackling ability.

He has been a part of multiple Super Bowl-winning teams with the Patriots, including Super Bowl LI, Super Bowl LIII, and Super Bowl LIII. He has consistently contributed both on defense and as a special teams player throughout his NFL career.
