HDMS Freja (P521)

HDMS Freja (P521) is a Danish patrol vessel of the Diana-class. These vessels are also sometimes referred to as the Stanflex 300 patrol vessels due to their modular mission payload system. The Freja is part of the Danish Navy's 1st Patrol Squadron. Her primary role is maritime surveillance and enforcement within Danish territorial waters, including monitoring fishing activities, conducting search and rescue operations, and providing a naval presence. The ship is equipped with the Stanflex system, which allows for rapid reconfiguration of its mission-specific modules, such as those for anti-surface warfare, mine countermeasures, or environmental protection. "HDMS" stands for "Her Danish Majesty's Ship."
