Joel Edwards (rugby league)

Joel Edwards (born 26 September 1988) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played as a second-row forward. He played for the Canberra Raiders, Newcastle Knights, and Penrith Panthers in the National Rugby League (NRL).

Early Life:

Edwards was born in Macksville, New South Wales, Australia.

Playing Career:

Edwards began his NRL career with the Canberra Raiders, making his debut in 2008. He played for the Raiders until 2012.

In 2013, Edwards joined the Newcastle Knights. He spent two seasons with the Knights.

Edwards then moved to the Penrith Panthers in 2015, playing with them until his retirement from professional rugby league.
