Jim Caldwell (basketball)

Jim Caldwell (born c. 1940) is a former American college basketball coach. He served as the head men's basketball coach at Weber State College (now Weber State University) from 1972 to 1978. During his tenure, Caldwell led the Wildcats to a record of 109-58, including a Big Sky Conference championship in 1973 and an NCAA Tournament appearance that same year. Prior to coaching at Weber State, Caldwell served as an assistant coach at the University of Washington. After leaving Weber State, he entered private business. Information regarding his playing career (if any) is limited.
