Jay Bergman (born March 24, 1946) is a former American college baseball coach. He is best known for his tenures as head coach at Seminole Community College (now Seminole State College) and the University of Central Florida (UCF).

Bergman began his coaching career at Seminole Community College, where he built a highly successful program. After several years at Seminole, he accepted the head coaching position at UCF in 1976.

During his 30 seasons at UCF, Bergman compiled a record of 1,088-694-3. He led the Knights to 13 NCAA Tournament appearances and four Atlantic Sun Conference championships. Bergman was named Atlantic Sun Conference Coach of the Year seven times. He also coached several players who went on to play professional baseball.

Bergman was dismissed from his position at UCF in 2008 following allegations of verbal abuse and intimidation of players. An investigation by the university substantiated some of the allegations.
