James McNulty (Canadian politician)

James McNulty (born February 14, 1951) is a Canadian politician. He served as a Progressive Conservative Member of Parliament (MP) representing the riding of Provencher in Manitoba from 1984 to 1993.

Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, McNulty was a businessman before entering federal politics. He was first elected in the 1984 federal election, defeating Liberal incumbent Jake Epp. He was re-elected in the 1988 federal election.

During his time in Parliament, McNulty served on several committees, including the Standing Committee on Finance, the Standing Committee on Agriculture, and the Standing Committee on External Affairs and International Trade. He was known for his advocacy for agricultural issues and rural communities.

McNulty was defeated in the 1993 federal election by Liberal candidate David Iftody. Following his defeat, he returned to business.
