Jörgen Sundqvist (ice hockey)
Jörgen Sundqvist (born December 12, 1962) is a retired Swedish professional ice hockey player. Sundqvist played primarily in the Swedish Hockey League (SHL), formerly known as Elitserien, for Djurgårdens IF.
Sundqvist was known as a physical defenseman with a strong defensive presence. He won two Swedish Championship titles with Djurgårdens IF in 1989 and 1990. He also represented Sweden internationally on several occasions, including at the World Championships.
Following his playing career, Sundqvist has remained involved in hockey, often working in coaching or scouting roles. He is considered a respected figure in Swedish hockey.
