Ian McGregor (Australian footballer)
Ian McGregor (born 29 January 1970) is a former Australian rules footballer who played with the Fitzroy Football Club and the Brisbane Bears/Brisbane Lions in the Australian Football League (AFL).
McGregor, a utility player, was drafted by Fitzroy with pick number 14 in the 1988 National Draft. He debuted in 1989 and played 28 games for Fitzroy over three seasons.
In 1992, McGregor was traded to the Brisbane Bears. He played 15 games for the Bears and then continued with the merged Brisbane Lions for two seasons, adding another 11 games to his career tally.
McGregor was known for his versatility and played in various positions across the field during his time in the AFL.
